About me

My name is Archondaki Doretta, I live and create in my workshop in Athens, Greece.

Through all my life i have been a great admirer of arts, the four elements and all natures' creations in general. Therefore i was
always after in finding a way to combine all these things and that was finally made possible in the jewelry craft.

As the owner and artist of Apple Named D, my goal is to embrace duality and find that sweet spot where a design can look both classic and modern, can simultaneously be over-the-top large and dainty, and can be worn as both a statement and an everyday piece.

Everything i create is made with love and is inspired by the world around us nature, ancient art.

My work is largely guided by intuition. I rarely have a fully formed idea of what I'm going to make before getting started.Instead, I prefer to let the stones guide the way and allow the piece to evolve through the process.

I leave the marks and imperfections of the hand-building process to enrich a finished piece.

I only make jewelry that I would wear, I don't make pieces to sell if I wouldn't wear them myself.
